Title: RE: New forum
Post by: dragons on January 27, 2018, 07:16:53 PM
Hi Guys,
The previous forum I put up a couple of years back had it's database well and truly corrupted due to my lack of diligence back it up regularly.

Anyhow this new forum uses a new domain, I have set it up to use SSL since most browsers will start throwing warnings of unencrypted connections sometime this year. It also uses Xenforo 2.0 so all the previous work would have been useless anyhow..
I've put this here for everyone, this isn't **MY** forum if you all want something I will add it or take away be as it may, I haven't done much work on permissions yet on what who can access but I have been thinking it might be best to keep all of this forum invisible until registration which needs to be approved before rest of the forum can be accessed.

This forum has the capability for attachments, I can activate easily, I have a hod of storage available, can this be of any use for anything? Firmware repos come to mind for ALP/Stinger?
Thoughts?

@dinkydi that's fixed with a profile setting, click on your name next to the search bar top right of the page then preferences, you will see a Time zone setting, change that to the appropriate one for you, I'm guessing Brisbane will be correct for you.
